Ammonite Fossil Fossilized Snail type creature It is 400-450 Million years old The matrix plate it is in, is about 7-3/4″ wide x 6.5″ tall x 1″ thick total There are several creatures in the matrix, and they have carved an Ammonite out of the matrix in relief The fossils and matrix are all polished. This piece will serve as a great specimen piece, a collector piece or a great art sculpture piece. Either way, It is magnificent! The Ammonite in the piece measures about 3-1/2″ long, and 3″ across. One edge is finished, and three are rough, so the piece can be displayed any way you wish it to be seen. I will be shipping this piece, heavily bubble wrapped in a flat rate Priority Envelope. |
